Hello and welcome! My name is Ashleigh, and I am an up and coming screenwriter and filmmaker currently based in Augusta, Georgia.
I've worked both on and off set on a number of productions in the past few years, starting with student films during my time at the University of North Georgia, and eventually working my way up to bigger projects, like Carousel, a short film directed and produced by (as well as starring) Joseph Morgan of the Originals, on which I worked as a production assistant. In the world of screenwriting, I've held various relevant positions. I was a writer's room assistant working with the Women in Film and Television Atlanta on a webseries concept known as Stone Cold Winter. Shortly after, I began work with a local Atlanta producer as an intern, and then a development assistant, screening all of the scripts sent her way. later in 2017, I worked as an assistant to the same producern on the feature film Summer Night, now available on Netflix. In 2018, I worked as a Screenplay Programming Intern at the Atlanta Film Festival, reading scripts and providing feedback, as well as managing other readers. In the years since, I have built up my skills as a script reader and consultant, first on Fiverr, and now with my own personal business, Fox and Crow Script Consultation. In my free time, I'm writing one of my handful of TV pilots, rewatching the same 5 TV shows over and over, watching the newest Netflix hit (or miss), going on roadtrips with my sister, or playing with my puppers, Rosie and Nugget. |
